Lamar is such a little town(coming from Dallas) I wasn't expecting much but this place delivered. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was great. Smelled nice, clean comfy bed, clean carpets. Definitely worth the stay and it was pretty affordable. Breakfast was served and pretty tasty too.
Overall, I was pleased and do not have any complaints.

We had a really nice stay. The pool was refreshing and the beds were super comfy, which is hard to find sometimes. the breakfast was mostly carbs and could’ve used more options.

The room was clean and modern, a pleasant surprise. The bed was super comfy, and the place was nice and quiet for some good sleep. They even had a Bible and Bhagavad Gita available. That was cool! I liked having free cable TV too. Breakfast wasn't bad at all for what we paid-enough options to start the day right.

Excellent breakfast with bacon, sausage and biscuit gravy, and scrambled eggs plus all the other rolls, dry goods, juice etc. good coffee as well with a Keurig if you wanted to make your own.

Good accommodations within room.
Exterior grounds and exercise room needs some attention. Full charge to my credit card at time of check-in (not booking) denied me the ability to leave early if I finished my work - not appreciated. Did not finish early so it was mute. Will avoid this in the future.

Tales from the unexpected
Staying here was a refreshingly pleasant surprise. My non-smoking king room was spacious and kept very clean, with a good touch of modern decor. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, and I appreciated having coffee available in the room. The quiet atmosphere ensured a restful night this stay a nice experience.

Location: the hotel was not far from downtown or most restaurants and a great Chinesse resturant Happy Gardens and Colorado. The staff was very very helpful, some of them especially. Our room was beautifully maintained, provided with TV as well as quality linens.
